Board of Trustees Code of Conduct Affirmation

To ensure that Board of Trustees (BOT) work is conducted in a manner consistent with the values of Al-Anon Family Groups of Georgia, Inc. (AFGG) and Al-Anon as a whole, each trustee must annually read the Code of Conduct and acknowledge that he or she will comply with it.

Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I have personally reviewed the BOT Code of Conduct and agree to comply with its values, principles, procedures, and standards of conduct. I understand the examples provided do not cover every situation but are meant as guidance in helping me to conduct myself consistent with the expectations of the highest standard of conduct for the BOT. I also understand that it is my responsibility to seek guidance if I have questions about the Code of Conduct.

I understand that the provisions within the Code of Conduct are subject to change and that I am expected to adhere to any current or revised provisions. I also understand compliance with the Code of Conduct is a minimum requirement by the BOT to maintain my service position as a trustee.
