ACTION COMMITTEES

1. GROUP SERVICES: To strengthen connection between the Assembly and existing groups; to encourage each group to have a Group Representative at the Assembly; to reach out to newly registered or unregistered groups to invite participation; to keep our area mailing list current and to record the history of the groups.
   
2. FELLOWSHIP COMMUNICATION: To encourage the use of CAL and the FORUM; to encourage member responses to the needs for new literature; to provide guidance on the use of CAL and the FORUM in group meetings and outreach activities; to encourage the sale of CAL and the FORUM to agencies outside of the fellowship as an outreach tool.
   
3. PUBLIC OUTREACH: To plan and carry out our primary purpose through outreach to the public and professional community; to help reach the goal that every person will know that Al-Anon and Alateen are the best source of help for families and friends of alcoholics; to make getting in touch with Al-Anon and Alateen easier.
   
4. MEMBERSHIP OUTREACH: To find ways to communicate within the fellowship about Al-Anon and Alateen activities; to plan cooperation and information sharing for Al-Anon and Alateen participation in area conventions, to brainstorm and test ideas for strengthening the area assembly and other meetings; to reach out to each group to invite unity and participation.
